VOLUNTEERS

The Ashland Strawberry Faire supports our community by donating money for scholarships to all Hanover County high schools and to many other community services. We would love to increase these donations. Also, this event is brought to you by a small volunteer group and lots of love.  This event offers great opportunities for students, sports teams, and other groups to work volunteer hours.

E-mail, mail, call us, or visit us if you and/or your groups would like to participate/help out.

• Volunteers are always needed the day of the Faire for set up, 5am – 9am.
• Lots of fun loving volunteers are needed in the “Kid Zone” and we would love to have new activities, 10am-5pm.
• Currently volunteers cleanup and recycle after the event very quickly, but for those that have been there since 5am they would love some help, 5pm-7pm.
• The Faire has over 25 great entertainers donating their services on two stages for 15-30 minutes during the Faire from 9am to 5pm.  We would love to have help with the stages, more local bands, singers, dancers, etc.
• Art work of strawberries for display or to be used on t-shirt, hats, or other items would be wonderful.

We are looking for volunteers to help make this year’s Strawberry Faire a success. We need volunteers to be able to work throughout the day. We also are in need of people to help the different committees organize the event. Please get involved and help us celebrate our community and the tradition of the Ashland Strawberry Faire.
