Everyone is a “Strawberry Kid” on Faire Day!
The “Strawberry Kids” Parade kicks-off the Faire at 9:45am on Henry Street. Adults and kids are welcome to join the fun. The”Spirit of the Faire” will be chosen from among the parade participants.
Outfits: Strawberry-themed! Dresses, hats, bonnets, shirts, etc. Decorated wagons and strollers are encouraged! Costumed dogs on leashes welcome. Noise makers are encouraged (i.e., kazoos, drums, shakers, etc).
No bikes are allowed in the Kick-Off Parade due to the large crowds.

Parade Route
Parking is difficult at best during Faire day. Since the parade starts before the Trolleys start running, please allow ample time to park in downtown Ashland and walk to campus.
Parade Details
9:15am – Meet on Henry Street by the Dorms passed the Football Field (see Parade Route for meeting place and parade route)
9:45am – “Strawberry Kids” Parade will head south on Henry Street to Blackwell Stage
10:00am – “Star Spangled Banner” on Blackwell Stage
10:05am – The 2023 “Spirit of the Faire” will be introduced on Blackwell Stage
10:10am – The 2023 Scholarship Winners will be announced on Blackwell Stage
